| Public perception of the risks associated with nuclear power is arguably one of the major contributors to the complexity and cost of nuclear legislation, and will be a significant hurdle to be overcome if new nuclear build is to be a viable solution to the problem of atmospheric pollution. This report considers the factors which affect the way in which the lay public perceive the risks associated with nuclear power in the UK. |
